About The Author

Chef Dan Parker is a native of St. Paul’s East Side. He has worked at some of the best restaurants in Minnesota and South Dakota and is currently the Executive Chef at Stout’s Pub in Falcon Heights. He is a father and husband, a homebrewer, food explorer, and all-around beer lover. A member of the American Homebrewers Association, Primary Fermenters of Minnesota, and occasional contributor for Minnesota Beer Activists, he is currently working toward Cicerone certification. In his down time he can usually be found with his family, friends, food, and fermentations.
