Two heavy hitters in the national craft beer game are teaming up for a neighborly collaboration.
Conveniently located just one short mile apart in Fort Collins, CO, New Belgium and Odell announced today they will work together on a “collaboration for the ages.” The beer, a 6.7% (55 IBU) American Pale Ale cleverly named FOCOllaboration, is available now through New Belgium’s Hop Kitchen series and will be available soon throughout Odell’s and New Belgium’s areas of distribution.
“Over the years we’ve shared everything from laughter, to beers, to perspective,” said New Belgium Brewing CEO, Kim Jordan. “FOCOllaboration celebrates that camaraderie and the mutual respect of being a couple of brewers who grew up together in the same neighborhood.”
A sentiment echoed by Odell co-founder, Wynne Odell in a press release Monday: “After working just down the street from each other for 23 years, it seemed the right time to brew something together,” said Odell. “Our collaboration beer combines our long term friendship with our collective creativity resulting in a delightful, neighborly brew.”
