Steel Toe Brewing will release their patio-friendly hefeweizen on draft at their taproom today at 3pm.
They call this one Sommer Vice, and you can expect plenty of banana, clove, and bubble gum flavors from the yeast, which are typical of the style. This is one that you’ll be able to enjoy a few of thanks in part to the low ABV (5%) and the palate-pleasing notes of citrus present in each sip.
Look for bottles to be available later this month, with the official tasting and bottle release taking place at Stinson Wine, Beer, and Spirits in Northeast Minneapolis on Tuesday, May 24 from 4-7pm.
The beer will also be available over at Pat’s Tap tomorrow, May 4, beginning at 11am.
And if you’re looking for a great cheese to pair with this beer, check out this recommendation from Growler Senior Editor John Garland.
