Tucked away in the rural fields of southern Iowa, Hinterland Music Festival is returning for two days jam-packed with music, the outdoors, arts, camping, and crafts.
On August 4 and 5, the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater in St. Charles, Iowa—just outside of Des Moines—will host some serious musical talent. According to the press release, English indie rock trio alt-J and American singer-songwriter Ryan Adams will be headlining the festival.
The summer 2017 lineup will also feature blues rock from Gary Clark Jr., indie folk rock from Seattle-based The Head and the Heart, Americana tunes from Shakey Graves, and Foxygen from California. Up-and-coming country star Nikki Lane, country rock star Dwight Yoakam, rock ‘n’ rollers JD McPherson, Minneapolis-based country group The Cactus Blossoms, singer-songwriter Max Jury, and Des Moines indie pop artist Annalibera round out the bill.
Tickets and camping passes go on sale Friday, February 17 at 10am. For more information about the festival and passes, check out www.hinterlandiowa.com.
