Remember those career aptitude tests they made you take in high school? Or your college counselor’s awesome (read: hardly ever correct) advice about what major you should choose?
Well, now there’s a chart showing where that career decision will land you when it comes to your future spouse.
Bloomberg Business folks crunched data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2014 American Community Survey—which covers 3.5 million households—to find out how people are pairing up.
The results might surprise you—in good ways for some, and maybe not so good for others. See for yourself, and try to resist the urge to read into your current partners’ matches too much if they don’t lead to, well, you.
