Junkyard Brewing Company is doing big things out in “NoMo” (North Moorhead—who knew?). The nano-brewery boasts 10 taps at their taproom, featuring a weekly rotation of experimental beer styles. Their latest creation: a bourbon barrel-aged version of their Coconut Dark Ale, aka Big Kahuna.

Two hundred and fifty crowlers of Big Kahuna will be released on Saturday, May 14, as the final hurrah for 10,000 Minutes of Minnesota Craft Beer Week.

The rest of Junkyard’s schedule for the week is as follows:

Monday, May 9: Blueberry Farmhouse “Experimental Sour”

Wednesday, May 11: Grapefruit Gose “Experimental Sour”

Thursday, May 12: Project Wildness event at the taproom, which is a nonprofit formed by two of our taproom employees, the nonprofit is based around random acts of kindness.

Friday, May 13: Oak-aged Free Candy
