Republic will host Lagerfest, a showcase of some of Minnesota’s best lagers, today from 4-10pm

10,000 Minutes of Minnesota Craft Beer, a week of special events and tappings that celebrate the state’s growing craft beer scene, comes to a close this Sunday but isn’t slowing down quite yet. Below is a list of events registered with the Minnesota Craft Brewer’s Guild for Friday, May 13.

Twin Cities

612Brew Firkin Release at Pig and Fiddle, 4pm–midnight – Special firkin tapping at this South Minneapolis mainstay.

612Brew Industry Night, Tattoo Artists, 2:30pm–midnight – Tattoo artists will get $2 pints all night long. Bring in your pay stub.

Bad Weather Brewing Tap Takeover at Iron Door Pub in Uptown, 6–9pm – The Bad Weather crew will be on-site and plan to bring American Wheat, Tippin’ it Down, Sour Ominous, and Mammatus Milk Stout. These are typically only available in their taproom.

Badger Hill Brewing Food Truck Friday 4:30–8pm – O’Cheeze will be the food truck on-site today.

Bauhaus Brew Labs Tap Takeover at Prairie Tap House 4pm – Bauhaus takeover with an opportunity to win swag.

Big Wood Brewing Tapping Bad Luck Bark Bite!, 4 pm – This is a special “Brewer’s Choice” tapping. Get it while you can.

Boom Island Brewing Presents the Spicy Boom Roll at Grumpy’s NE 4–5pm – This is their version of Brimstone Tripel with pickled ginger, a garnish of nori, and a touch of wasabi. Available until it kicks.

Brau Brothers Tasting at Total Wine in Woodbury, 4–7pm – Stop in to sample the latest from Brau Brothers.

ENKI Brewing Infusion Fresh Hopped Tailfeather IPA 4pm – This is the fresh-hopped version of ENKI’s flagship IPA.

Lagerfest at Republic 4–10pm – A showcase of some of the finest lagers in Minnesota. Also, the Bauhaus and Fair State collaboration Das Homeguys Helles will make its debut.

Modist Brewing Friday T-Shirt Special, 3pm – Buy a t-shirt, get a free beer! Bark and Bite will be selling BBQ right outside.

Waconia Brewing Company Bottle Release, 2pm – Mo ‘Whisky 750 ml bottle release. This is their Mo ‘Winta Milk Stout aged in Wild Turkey barrels. There are only 300 bottles, so get there fast to score one.

Duluth and Northern Minnesota

Castle Danger Pints for a Cause for the Superior Hiking Trail Association 12–10pm – $1 from each pint sold at Castle Danger’s taproom will go to this organization.

Hammerheart Brewing Tap Takeover at 7 West Duluth, 5–7pm – Lino Lakes’ Hammerheart Brewing will be taking over six lines with some flagships and limited releases.

Thank Firkin it’s Friday at Sir Ben’s, 5–8pm – Castle Danger, Bent Paddle, Lake Superior Brewing, and Tin Whiskers will all be tapping pins and firkins.

Third Street Brewhouse Tap Takeover at Eddie’s on Grand, 5–8pm – Third Street is running the taps at Eddie’s on Grand.

Rochester

Forager Brewing Beer Release, 11am – Gathering in the Woods Sour Blend will be released today.

MN Brewery Swag Day at Grand Rounds Brewpub, 11am-close – Get a free half pint of any beer when you wear your Minnesota brewery gear to the brewpub.

Weeklong Events

Bemidji Craft Beer Tour, various locations, May 9–22, 11am–10pm each day – To participate, pick up a Bemidji Craft Beer Tour Card at Green Mill, Brigid’s Pub, or 4 Point Grille & Bar in Bemidji, drink a Bemidji Brewing Company beer while you’re at each establishment, and have them stamp your card. Bring a completed card into Bemidji Brewing’s taproom and receive a free pint.

Canal Park Brewery, MN Craft Beer Week, May 9–14 – Special cask releases and the chef’s burger of the week will be available, which will incorporate Canal Park beers.

Forager Brewery, Bike or Walk Program, May 9–14 – Bike or walk to the brewery and receive a free mini beer, cup of coffee, or soda when you show your server a selfie displayed on your Facebook page.
