Drink your way down Lake Street on the ‘Bike and Brew Tour’

Get those bikes tuned up this week because next Saturday, May 14th, is the Lake Street Bike and Brew Tour, which will take participants on a tour of four breweries, two distilleries, a winery/cider house, and a sake brewery all located on or nearby Minneapolis’ Lake Street.

Tickets, which offer prizes and drink discounts, are already sold out, but you can still hop on the self-guided tour with your friends.

For a long time it was just The Herkimer and moto-i making their own beverages off Lake Street, but thanks to the Surly Bill, which also helped distilleries by lowering the start-up fee, that has changed.

Check in on the Midtown Greenway across from Freewheel Bike Shop between 12:30-5pm and then make your way along the route to hit up Harriet Brewing, Eastlake Craft Brewery, LynLake Brewery, The Herkimer Pub & Brewery, moto-i, Lawless Distilling Company, Du Nord Craft Spirits, and Urban Forage Winery and Cider House.
