What’s in a name, you may ask? The name “Bellecour” comes from La Place Bellecour, in the center of Lyon in France. The French-inspired bistro pays an homage to his close friends and mentors, including chefs Daniel Boulud and Paul Bocuse. Boulud was born in Lyon, whereas Bocuse is based there.

As for the menu, it will feature of mixture of classic French dishes and Midwestern flavors. The press release also noted that a bakery by Spoon & Stable pastry chef Diane Yang will also be included.
