Boom Island Brewing Company today announced the return of its Belgian-style Homebrewing Competition as a part of the annual Boom Days festival, July 15-17.

The Boom Days festival honors Belgian National Day, and the Belgian-style Homebrewing Competition is Boom Island’s way to give homebrewers an opportunity to partake in the celebration.

Participants must submit Belgian-style beer to qualify ($7 entry fee per entry). You must be a Minnesota resident. Registration is currently open and will close on Sunday, July 10, at 5pm. Entries can be submitted to either Northern Brewer or Boom Island Brewing Company.

The grand prize for Best in Show will be the opportunity for the brewer to brew the winning beer on Boom Island Brewing’s 15-barrel Belgian-modeled system and have it featured in the Boom Island taproom.
