Badger Hill Brewing is gearing up for summer in the best way possible: with two new beers in a split six-pack they’re dubbing the “Porch Pounder.”
The first of the two is Hop Hill Pale Ale, a 5.2% ABV, 45 IBU citrusy pale ale brewed with Centennial and CTZ hops, and pale, Carapils, and Munich malts. The beer was dry-hopped for added flavor and aroma and carries a relatively low amount of bitterness on the finish.
MinneAle is a lighter, 4.8% ABV, 22 IBU kölsch-style ale brewed with pilsner, white wheat, and light crystal malts, and New Zealand-bred Wakatu hops along with other American hops.
Look for the beers in their split six-packs on shelves beginning this week, and on draft around town and at Badger Hill’s Shakopee taproom.
