After three years, Bad Weather Brewing’s red IPA, Windvane, is finally getting some year-round company starting this June.

The St. Paul–based brewery announced this morning in an e-mail that it will be adding two (formerly taproom-only) beers—Hopcromancer and Sun Pillar—to its year-round offerings. Not only that, but all three beers will be available in 12-ounce cans as Bad Weather begins canning operations at its new St. Paul brewery.

According to Bad Weather’s website, Hopcromancer is an American IPA with “Biscuit like malt character with lots of juicy hops. Generously hopped throughout the boil, and dry hopped twice for extra depth of hop aroma. Pineapple, citrus, melon, and just a hint of pine. Pours gold with a thick white head.”

Sun Pillar is a Belgian-style blonde ale in which “Subtle spicy yeast notes are accompanied by the sweetness of Belgian Pilsen malt and candi sugar. Bubble gum and clove permeate the soft aroma coming off a silky white tuft of foam.”

All three cans sport the artwork of Lucas Gluesenkamp, the illustrator who designs all of Bad Weather’s branding.
