U is for… Umami
Almost as impressive as the beer this weekend in Denver was the food. Whether wandering around Downtown Denver or perusing the festival itself, good food was never far away.
Created to provide an opportunity for GABF attendees to taste how well craft beer pairs with food, the Farm to Table Pavilion was limited to 450 ticket holders on Thursday and Friday and was not included in the price of admission. Note to future attendees: Make this area a priority. Throughout the two-day run there was a ton of amazing food from some of Colorado’s very best restaurants in addition to several special release beers not available elsewhere within the festival.
