Shakopee’s Badger Hill Brewing Company is about to get a little arrogant.

Badger Hill is one of 18 breweries from around the world selected to brew a one-time batch of Arrogant Bastard Ale to benefit Foster Care to Success. Once a Stone Brewing flagship and now its own brand (see below video), Arrogant Bastard is a 7.2% ABV American strong ale.

The “Arrogant Bastard Hits the Road” series consists of breweries “entrusted to ‘foster’ the sacred recipe to brew a single, limited batch of the liquid arrogance to be served on draft in their taproom for on-site imbibing only, with proceeds going to charity.” Other participating breweries include Fat Head’s, Great Divide, Main Beer Company, Maui Brewing, The Bruery, Brewdog, and more.

Badger Hill brewed their batch of Arrogant Bastard in late July and will release it in their taproom on August 23. $2 from every pint sold will go to Foster Care to Success.
