This is an old-fashioned style Hefeweizen, and possibly the best of its style. It pours murky amber and bursts with banana and molasses aromas. Its creamy mouthfeel leads into flavors of spicy clove and banana, alongside brown sugar with a hint of vanilla and caramel. Ur-Weisse pairs with mornings in Germany, yodeling, and grilled pork chops.
