The Freehouse will host a five-course Beer and Breakfast for Dinner tonight

May 9-15 is 10,000 Minutes of Minnesota Craft Beer, a week of special events and tappings that celebrate the state’s growing craft beer scene. Below is a list of events registered with the Minnesota Craft Brewer’s Guild for Wednesday, May 11. Check back each day this week for more events happening near you.

Twin Cities

10K Brewing, Pints and Paint, 6–8:30pm – Enjoying painting and beers with your family. Each participant will receive a flight of beer with ticket ($35) purchase. Grab your tickets here.

612Brew, Industry Night (4–10pm) and Nathan Miller Live at the Taproom (7–9pm) – Bartenders receive $2 beers (just bring in your pay stub) and Nathan Miller performs live.

Acadia Cafe, Minnesota Sour Showcase, 7pm–midnight – Sour beers—so hot right now. Get to Acadia to check out Indeed’s Wooden Soul 6 & 7, Fair State Lactobac 11 & 12, Bemidji Flanders Red 2014 & Flanders Red with Blueberries and Raspberries, Surly Pentagram, amd Lake Monster Sour Brown Ale.

Badger Hill Brewing, Flight Club, 3–10pm – Four rare beers in each flight and you get to help choose the winner.

Barley Johns Brew Pub, The Riveter release, 4:30pm–midnight – A non-barrel-aged version of Rosie’s will be available tonight.

Blue Door Pub (Como), Surly Brewing 11 on 11, 11am – Blue Door Pub will be serving 11 Surly beers at their new Como location including Furious, Xtra Citra, Todd the Axe Man, Pentagram, Cacao Bender, Smoke, Darkness, Pils, Three Heathen Temple, and Asator.

ENKI, Infusion beer release, 4–11pm – A fan favorite returns to the taproom tonight with Infusion #2 Kumquat Cacao Porter.

The Exchange, Brau Brothers Brewmaster’s Dinner featuring Dustin Brau, 6:30–8:30pm – The Exchange Food and Drink in New Brighton will host a four course beer dinner hosted by Dustin Brau from Brau Brothers. Reservations are required and the cost is $35 per person. Call (651) 348-6289 to reserve your spot.

The Freehouse, Beer and Breakfast for Dinner, 7–9 pm – Five-course meals with five different Freehouse beers for $60, including gratuity. The first 20 guests get a free tour at 6:30 pm. Call (612) 339-7011 to make a reservation.

Lupulin Brewing, Running Club, 6:30–7:30pm – Join the brewery for their weekly 4.6 mile run. Meet up at the brewery afterwards for a complimentary pint of beer.

LynLake Brewery, Barrel-Aged Release Party, 5–11 pm – The brewery is releasing some special barrel-aged beers tonight. You’ll have to check their Facebook page or go to find out what’s pouring.

Maple Island Brewing, Patio Opener, May 10–14, noon–10 pm – Food trucks, live music, and new beers galore will be available at this Stillwater brewery. Their patio is dog-friendly.

Modist, Calibration Special, 4–7pm – $1 off all pints and tulips of Calibration.

The Nook, Bauhaus and the Nook Present Bowling, Burgers, and Beers, 8pm–midnight – Bowling, a burger, and a Bauhaus beer for $20-$30 (depending your desired number of games and beers).

Northbound Smokehouse, Castle Danger mini tap takeover, 5–7pm – Try several Castle Danger beers and meet the brewers at Northbound Smokehouse.

Red Cow (50th and France), Fulton Tap Invasion, 4–11pm – Fulton is raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Tanager Brett IPA, Patience, and other goodies will be making an appearance.

Rock Bottom Brewery, Cellar Beer, 5–7 pm – The head brewer Larry will pull something special out of the cellar for two hours only. Check their Facebook page for details.

St. Anthony Village Pub, 56 Brewing Meet the Brewer, Special Release, and Food Pairing, 6–9pm – Walnut Joy Stout will be released and paired with food while you play games and win prizes.

Tin Whiskers, Beer-Themed Trivia Night, 7–9pm – Take your knowledge down to Lowertown for a chance to win some free beer.

Urban Growler, Buckwheat Cask release, 11am – Buckwheat Cask will be the special release today. Head on over and check it out.

Urban Growler, Meet the Brewer Tours, 5:30–7pm – Meet Urban Growler Master Brewer and Owner Deb Loch and take a brewery tour with her. Tours are free and run every half hour.

Duluth and Northern Minnesota

Bent Paddle, Live Music in the Taproom, 5–9pm – Dance Attic will be performing and a special cask will be on tap.

Castle Danger, Pints for a Cause, noon–9pm – One dollar from each pint will be donated to the Lake County Humane Society today.

Grizzly’s, Indeed and Beaver Island Present King Pin, 5–8pm – A pin of LSD with Chamomile, Cardamom, and organic vanilla beans will go up against a pin of Chocolate Oatmeal Stout from Beaver Island.

Sir Benedict’s, Hump Day with Beaver Island Brewing, 8–11pm – Tapping a special ’39 Red pin bumped with extra hops. Live music and beer makes for a great combination.

Rochester and Southern Minnesota

Forager Brewery, Beer Release, 11am – A five-gallon keg of Imperial Raspberry Sherpa will be on tap today.

Forager Brewery, Jeremy Jewell performs live, 8–11pm – Jeremy will be strumming the night away on his guitar. Get to the taproom and check him out.

Grand Rounds Brewpub, Beer Release, 11am – Grand Rounds will be tapping a keg of Strawberry Kiwi Kölsch release an infused version of one of their beers. Check their Facebook page later for today’s feature.

Weeklong Events

Bemidji Craft Beer Tour, various locations, May 9–22, 11am–10pm each day – To participate, pick up a Bemidji Craft Beer Tour Card at Green Mill, Brigid’s Pub, or 4 Point Grille & Bar in Bemidji, drink a Bemidji Brewing Company beer while you’re at each establishment, and have them stamp your card. Bring a completed card into Bemidji Brewing’s taproom and receive a free pint.

Canal Park Brewery, MN Craft Beer Week, May 9–14 – Special cask releases and the chef’s burger of the week will be available, which will incorporate Canal Park beers.

Forager Brewery, Bike or Walk Program, May 9–14 – Bike or walk to the brewery and receive a free mini beer, cup of coffee, or soda when you show your server a selfie displayed on your Facebook page.
