Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery Taps Winter Tartan

Introduces Seasonal Menu and Holiday Gift Card Sale

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (December 2, 2013) – Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, celebrates the holidays with the tapping of its popular Winter Tartan on December 3. To accompany its new beer release, Rock Bottom will serve a limited-time winter menu that incorporates hearty steaks and rich flavors through Jan 5.

Brewed in-house, Winter Tartan is a traditional Scottish ale with a smooth, malty flavor, and a hint of vanilla.

In addition to Winter Tartan the seasonal menu will feature new offerings including:

  • Swiss Portobello Burger, a half-pound steakburger, topped with fresh sautéed baby portobello mushrooms and swiss cheese.
  • Roasted Garlic Bone-In Ribeye, a USDA choice 18 oz. bone-in ribeye rubbed with roasted garlic, kosher salt and black pepper, brushed with a house garlic oil and accompanied by roasted garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.
  • Bleu Cheese Portobello Strip, a USDA choice 14 oz. New York strip seasoned, grilled and topped with fresh sautéed portobello mushrooms and a signature bleu cheese sauce, accompanied by roasted garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus

To round out the meal, guests can enjoy the Triple Chocolate Brownie, a warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and stout hot fudge, and a new bar offering – the Pomegranate Margarita made with Herradura Silver Tequila, Cointreau, housemade agave margarita mix and a splash of pomegranate juice.

Rock Bottom will also run a special holiday gift card deal through Dec. 31, giving guests a $5 Rock Bottom gift certificate for every $25 they spend in gift cards. Gift cards can be purchased in restaurant or online at
